Serve as the definitive institutional anchor for medical professionals in Armenia, fostering a world-class healthcare ecosystem where unified specialist societies drive global clinical excellence, progressive health policies, and sustainable medical futures.
Unite and empower medical specialist societies and healthcare professionals across Armenia and the diaspora.
By fostering collaborative, science-driven, and innovative communities, we advance evidence-based medical practice, elevate clinical education, and shape progressive national health policies for sustainable healthcare future.
Since our founding in 2002, ArMedA has served as a vital bridge between independent medical fields, international scientific bodies, and public health initiatives. Operating as an "association of associations," we have actively unified more than 40 specialist medical organizations to foster a cohesive healthcare ecosystem in Armenia.
Our core milestones include:
Pioneering Evidence-Based Medicine: Actively introducing and institutionalizing evidence-based medicine principles across Armenia through specialized seminars, summer schools, and the publication of foundational local methodological manuals.
Advancing Continuing Medical Education (CME): Developing and hosting dozens of professional postgraduate training courses and clinical bio-statistics workshops, expanding medical expertise to hundreds of healthcare professionals both in Yerevan and rural regions.
National Public Health & Screening Initiatives: Leading major localized epidemiological and screening campaigns in collaboration with international frameworks—such as the global May Measurement Month hypertension screenings—providing critical medical data to help shape state health prevention programs.
International & Institutional Collaboration: Serving as an independent professional platform that collaborates with state bodies, international organizations, and the diaspora to advocate for reforms, protect doctors' professional rights, and elevate national clinical standards.
